Loving our Reclaim

Can't believe a place like this is only 5 minutes away! It's a great place to go on a beautiful day to spend more money than you actually have. :) We found some treasures yesterday and got outta there only spending £60. 

                   Love this card table. Some work needs to be done to it but couldn't leave it behind. 

         The mini is awesome!! A full sized whiskey barrel in the back of my mini. 

Roma, Italia in a Weekend...

We had a great time in Rome. The city is amazing and every where you turn, you have an awe moment. Every time you look up, there is something that will take your breath away. The whole city is one big outdoor museum. It's a divine place. We loved it. Isaac did really well and I asked him what his favourite part of the trip was and of course, he said "Ice Cream." We ate a lot of Gelato. Too much & ate way too much pizza...aaahhh the pizza....so good!  I'm breaking the pictures up in to days because I took so many! 

Day 1: April 4, 2014

The Santa Maria Basilica Church. It is huge on the inside and in the Top 10 Sights to See. We were lucky in that it was right around the corner from our Hotel. Another donation only church. A truly magnificent church. 

The Roma Metro was awesome! I would definitely recommend traveling by the Metro to all of the tourist attractions. It's only 6 Euros per person for all day. 

There literally is a McDonalds on every street corner!!

A school trip to Trevi Fountain.

The Trevi Fountain. It was gorgeous. Isaac's other favourite thing besides "ice cream" was "throwing money in the water." We made a lot of wishes and threw a lot of money. Good fun!

Our Open Bus Tour in the evening. It was definitely a great way to see the city and to enjoy the lovely weather.

The Colosseum. It was amazing. It was huge and the history was fascinating. We saw this on the open bus tour but went back on Day 3 to feel it up close. 

I might turn this one in to a postcard. :) The one thing I can say of my advice is to arrange a tour ahead of time or in the city (at a tour company). The lines to get in to the colosseum were hours long, hours. The tour lets you skip the line and go straight in. It's worth the 25 Euro's. Especially with a 3 year old!

Day 2: April 5, 2014:

We went to The Vatican and got a Peppa Pig. Can you believe it? Right outside the Vatican was a Peppa Pig store?!? What?!?

Day 4 April 7, 2014:
